I can't remember what came first: the melody or the lyrics. All I know is that one minute I was washing dishes, and the next there was the sweetest song, and I couldn't stop signing it. Isn't that the beauty of the Lord, the perfect creator, and how He creates through us? And doesn't He know us so well, and know the perfect hows and whens and wheres to lead us in the creating? As a mom and full time teacher there shouldn't be time to create, and yet, I do. Little melodies and words float in and out of my head and heart all day, every day, no matter how busy my hands are. I love that God has given that gift to me. I'll be forever thankful for the joy of it. And this song is one example. One of my creative conversations with God. Maybe it will float in and out of your head and heart, too. And if it does, I pray that it leads you to Him, and into your own conversations with the creator of it all.
